A Kind of Magic is a collection of original stories that uses the magical to illuminate the ordinary. In the world of these stories, magic has the power to make tangible the intangible, to turn metaphor into reality, to transform what is felt into something that can be touched so that it can be better understood. The presence of the fantastic is both overt and subtle so the reader can recognize it while continuing to search for it. And in the course of that searching, the reader may discover there is more magic yet, often in the most unmagical of moments.
