A Critical Appraisal of United States and Panamanian Views on the Revolution and the Canal Treaty of 1903 with Subsequent Modifications

The purpose of this dissertation is to give an impartial account of the revolutionary movement to separate the Isthmus of Panama from the Republic of Colombia and the adoption of the Canal Treaty of 1903 with its subsequent modifications.
