A Comparative Analysis of Proposals for Economic Stabilization Since 1929

ForewordThe primary aim of this study will be to examine the problem of economic stabilization in economies like ours, to consider the principal proposals for economic stabilization in the past two decades, and to compare and analyze some specific proposals from the standpoint of impact upon different segments of the economy. A secondary objective will be to arrive at some conclusions as to those proposals that appear to be most practical, either from the standpoint of attainability, desirability or effectiveness.
