Reaching the Gobi is a short, natural history documentary about undergraduates from Texas A&M University experiencing a faculty-led study abroad program. The program focused on scientific methods of snow leopard conservation and was co-led in partnership with Snow Leopard Conservancy and Irbis Mongolia in the Gobi-Altai Mountains of Mongolia. Since graduating, their young professional careers have been directly influenced by the same passion for fieldwork and genetic research of the wildlife biologists who once led them.
