Caroline McGraw's very first childhood memory is of the diagnostic center where her brother Willie was diagnosed with autism. She was too young to realize what had jut happened, but that day laid the path that would define her life's journey. My Brother is a short documentary about Caroline's longing to connect with Willie in a way that he simply cannot reciprocate. Weekly telephone calls to Willie often last less than a minute. She grapples with her longing for connection and understanding , and guilt for being the "normal" sibling, by caring for others who are intellectually disabled and being an inspiration for caregivers.
