In the midst of a recession and Gulf oil spill, a Maryland crab shack bartender loses his house and job on the same day. Pushed to the brink, he pulls a gun from under the bar and takes aim at his boss. That's when a chain of good deeds, begun by the gunman himself, brings an epiphanic conclusion.
