Pointer to : Selected differences between directors and other personnel in assessment of their own U.S. academic library
The findings reported in this paper are based on analyses of a subset of data originally collected for a comparative survey of library personnel in Germany and the USA. This subset focuses on those survey respondents working in a library in the USA for a higher education institution granting doctoral degrees, and the analyses described here compare and contrast the views of those respondents holding positions as library directors with those who do not. Findings include differing views on leadership, diversity, employee morale, and meeting user expectations.
